Mexican-Style Tomato Bean Soup Recipe

  • 3 cups tomato juice
  • 1 (16 ounce) can ORTEGA® Refried Beans
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar ORTEGA® Salsa Prima™ – Homestyle Mild
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (1.25 ounce) package ORTEGA® Taco Seasoning mix
  • 2 cups SARGENTO® 4 Cheese Mexican Blend, divided
  1. COMBINE juice, beans, salsa, water and seasoning mix in large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in 1/2 cup cheese. Top with remaining cheese and garnish as desired.
