- 1/4 cup (2 ounces) sweet vermouth
- 2 tablespoons (1 ounce) full-flavored gin such as Junípero
- 1 teaspoon Maraschino liqueur
- 1 dash Angostura Bitters
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 (1-by 1/2-inch strip) lemon zest
- In chilled cocktail shaker or pint glass, stir together vermouth, gin, Maraschino liqueur, bitters, and ice until well combined. Strain into chilled coupe glass. Twist lemon peel over glass, drop into drink, and serve.
