Maple Candy Balls Recipe
- 1 (14 ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 2 tablespoons maple extract
- 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts
- 1 (2 pound) package confectioners' sugar
- 24 (1 ounce) squares semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- In large bowl, mix together EAGLE BRAND(R), butter, maple extract and nuts. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar.
- Roll into 1-inch balls. Keep refrigerated until ready to dip.
- In heavy saucepan or double broiler, over low heat, melt chocolate. Dip balls into chocolate. Place on wax paper lined baking sheet until set. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.
