Mahi Mahi with Cumin, Lime and Cilantro Recipe

  • 14 ounces mahi mahi
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup cilantro leaves, chopped
  1. Rinse fish and pat dry.
  2. Mix the cumin, garlic salt and paprika. Sprinkle herbs over both sides of fillets. Lightly pat to be sure herbs stick to the fish.
  3. In a large nonstick skillet, melt 1/2 of the butter over medium-high heat.
  4. Add fillets and saute for 1-2 minutes, then turn over. Fish should be cook for a total of about 4 minutes per 1/2 inch thickness (at the thickest part).
  5. Transfer fish to a platter and cover. Add remaining butter, lime juice and cilantro to the skillet. Heat until butter melts.
  6. Pour sauce over fish and serve.
