Light Lemon Yogurt Sauce Recipe

  • 1 cup plain nonfat yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint or parsley, if available, or 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl. Refrigerate, covered, until needed.
