- 1 1/2 pounds ground lamb
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh mint
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 3 large garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Preheat grill for medium heat and lightly oil grate.
- In a large bowl, mix the lamb, mint, oregano, garlic, cumin, allspice, salt and pepper. Divide meat and shape into 4 patties.
- Place patties on grill. Cover and cook turning once, until burgers are well seared, or temperature reads 160 degrees F (70 degrees C) about 8 minutes for medium-well.
