- 1 1/2 pounds pork, cubed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 onion, slivered
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped

- 1/2 cup water
- Season pork with salt and pepper; brown well in oil. Add onion and garlic and brown; drain fat. Add remaining ingredients; cover and simmer 1 hour, stirring frequently. Add more water if necessary during cooking.
