- 1 (14 ounce) package caramels
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 6 cups KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal
- Unwrap caramels and place in large microwaveable glass bowl. Add butter and milk. Microwave++ at HIGH 3-4 minutes or until melted and smooth, stirring after each minute.
- Add cereal and vanilla, stirring until evenly coated.
- Press evenly into lightly-buttered 3.5 L (13 x 9-inch) pan. Let stand until firm. Cut into bars.
