- 1 quart vegetable broth
- 1 quart water
- 1/2 cup salt
- 1/2 cup ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup garlic powder
- 1/2 cup dried thyme
- 1/2 cup dried rosemary
- 10 pounds ice cubes, or as needed
- Stir vegetable broth, water, salt, pepper, sugar, garlic powder, thyme, and rosemary together in a saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil. Cook, stirring regularly, until the salt and sugar are dissolved, about 5 minutes. Cool completely.
- Mix brine and ice together in a large container.
