Honduran Pineapple Juice Recipe

  • 2 cups fresh pineapple
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  1. Cut pineapple in small cubes. Place in blender and pulse until pineapple is smooth. Add water and sugar to pineapple and blend until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Chill one hour before serving. If desired garnish with fresh strawberries or maraschino cherries.
  3. Variation: Pour half of the pineapple juice into another container. Add 2 cups ice to blender with remaining juice. Pulse until ice is chopped. Serve immediately. Or for a frostier consistency, place in freezer for 1 hour.
