Herb Vinaigrette Recipe

  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1 tablespoon plain yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
  • pinch cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  1. Combine all in a 2-cup glass measure. Blend till smooth with a hand-held blender
  2. Thin with a little water if needed. Makes about one cup.
