Hawaiian Salsa Recipe

  • 1 cup papaya, cubed
  • 2/3 cup red and green bell pepper, diced
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1/2 cup Maui onion, diced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon Splenda®
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pinch salt
  1. Juice the lime in a small bowl. Remove any seeds. Add the water, Splenda, salt and pepper and stir. Add the coconut flakes, onion and bell pepper. Stir. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  2. About 5 minutes before serving, toss with the papaya.
