Harvest Apple Chutney Recipe

  • 5 cups coarsely chopped, peeled and cored cooking apples
  • 2 cups chopped onions
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup seedless raisins
  • 3/4 cup Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
  1. Combine apples, onions, sugar, raisins, teriyaki sauce, vinegar and ginger in Dutch oven or large saucepan; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Uncover; continue cooking until thickened, about 15 minutes. Refrigerate in covered container at least 1 day to allow flavors to blend. Pack in sterilized jars and store in refrigerator. If desired, wrap for gift giving.
