Grilled Chops with Rosemary Butter Recipe

  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 4 pork chops, 3/4 inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons softened butter
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper
  1. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.
  2. Mix salt, pepper, and sugar together in a small bowl. Brush chops with oil and sprinkle with seasoning mix.
  3. In a small bowl, blend butter with garlic, rosemary, lemon juice and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Place chops on hot grill. Cover and cook until char-grill marks appear on one side, about 3 to 5 minutes. Turn and continue to grill until marks form on remaining side, about 3 to 5 minutes longer.
  5. Transfer chops to individual serving plates, placing a portion of the rosemary-garlic butter on top of each chop.
