Grilled Chicken with Lemon-Herb Sauce Recipe

  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) chopped fresh oregano leaves
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) chopped fresh chives
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 8 chicken pieces, such as breasts or drumsticks
  1. Stir together lemon juice, oregano, chives and salt and pepper. Pour into a serving dish large enough to hold all chicken pieces.
  2. Rinse and wipe chicken with paper towel. Grill at medium-high heat or roast until meat is no longer pink inside, about 20 minutes.
  3. When chicken is cooked, transfer to bowl with lemon mixture. Turn to coat and serve.
