Grilled Bratwurst German Potato Sala Recipe

  • 1 (19 ounce) package Bob Evans Farms® Bratwurst
  • 2 pounds Bob Evans® Fresh Home Fries Diced
  • 3/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 small cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 dashes hot pepper sauce
  1. Add bratwurst and potatoes to 4 quarts boiling water. Cook for 10 minutes, and then remove bratwurst. Continue cooking potatoes until tender, about 10 additional minutes. Meanwhile, cook bratwurst in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through, about 6 minutes. Thinly slice bratwurst. In a large serving bowl, combine vinegar, oil, onion, cucumber, chives, mustard, garlic, salt, pepper and hot sauce. Gently stir in potatoes and bratwurst. Serve warm or cold. Refrigerate leftovers.
