Green chilli salsa Recipe

  • 350g/12oz green chillies
  • 350g/12oz plum tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 medium red onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • Âź tsp ground cumin
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  1. Place chillies in a roasting tray and roast at 220C/425F/Gas 7 for 10-15 minutes, depending on the size of chillies.
  2. They should be blackened on the outside and soft to the touch.
  3. Remove any black skin from the chillies and pass through a fine sieve.
  4. Fold together with the tomatoes, garlic, onion, and cumin.
