- 150g/5½oz green beans, trimmed
- 25g/1oz butter
- 3 spring onions, sliced
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Cook the beans in a saucepan of boiling, salted water for 3-4 minutes, or until they have softened slightly but are not cooked through, then drain.
- Melt the butter in a frying pan until foaming, then add the beans, sliced spring onions, and salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Drizzle the vegetables with the honey and stir in the parsley, then serve.
