Goldilocks Sweet Potato Pie Recipe

  • 1 pastry for a 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 pound sweet potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Press pie crust into a 9-inch pie pan.
  2. Mix sweet potatoes, sugar, butter, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, nutmeg, and cinnamon together in a bowl; pour sweet potato mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean, about 1 hour.
