Golden Oatmeal Recipe

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter, or to taste
  1. Combine water and oats in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and stir in banana slices and turmeric. Continue cooking until desired consistency is reached, 2 to 5 minutes more.
  2. Remove saucepan from heat and stir in cinnamon. Stir oatmeal and cover saucepan; let sit until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  3. Transfer oatmeal to a bowl and top with peanut butter.
