Ginger Steamed Tilapia Recipe

  • 4 (4 ounce) filets Waterfront BISTRO® Tilapia, thawed
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper for seasoning Tilapia
  • 2 slices fresh ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons minced green onions
  • 4 sprigs cilantro
  1. Pat Tilapia Filets dry, place onto entrée style dinner plate and season with pepper.
  2. Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger slices, green onions and cilantro, mix to incorporate and pour over top of Tilapia Filets.
  3. Wrap the entire preparation in plastic wrap, sealing tightly.
  4. Microwave for 4 minutes at high heat or until the fish is thoroughly cooked.
  5. Remove plastic wrap and enjoy.
