Garlic and herb cheese salad with pitta bread Recipe

  • 140g/4oz cream cheese
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon mixed fresh herbs (flatleaf parsley, coriander, mint), finely chopped
  • 1 spring onion, chopped
  • 2 handfuls mixed herbs (flatleaf parsley, coriander, mint)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • griddled pittas, cut into triangles
  1. Beat the cream cheese in a bowl until soft.
  2. Add the garlic, herbs and spring onion and beat to combine.
  3. For the herb salad, toss the herbs in the oil in a bowl.
  4. Serve the garlic and herb cheese and the herb salad in bowls with griddled pittas to the side.
