Gamberones Fritti Recipe
- 4 tbsp chickpea or plain flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- 4 raw tiger prawns, shells removed, de-veined
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 handful chopped fresh parsley
- 1 handful chopped fresh coriander
- 1 handful chopped fresh chervil
- 1 lime, cut in half
- Mix the flour, salt and cayenne pepper in a bowl. Dredge the prawns in the flour mixture to coat.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Fry the prawns for 4-5 minutes, or until they have turned pink.
- To serve, sprinkle the herbs onto a serving plate and place the prawns on top of them. Garnish with the lime halves.
