Fudgy Chocolate Cookie Bars Recipe

  • 1 3/4 cups Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour
  • 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 cup cold butter or margarine
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In large bowl, combine flour, confectioners' sugar and cocoa; cut in butter (mixture will be dry). Press firmly on bottom of 13×9-inch baking pan. Bake 15 minutes.
  2. In medium saucepan, over low heat, combine 1 cup chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla; stirring constantly until chips are melted.
  3. Pour chocolate mixture evenly over prepared crust. Top with nuts and remaining 1 cup chocolate chips; press down firmly. Bake 20 minutes or until set. Cool in pan on wire rack. Refrigerate if desired. Cut into bars. Store leftovers tightly covered at room temperature.
