Fruitcake with Ginger Cream Cheese Recipe

  • a 3-ounce package cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon minced peeled fresh gingerroot
  • thin slices of fruitcake
  1. In a bowl stir together the cream cheese, softened, and the gingerroot and chill the mixture for 30 minutes. Spread the ginger cream cheese on the fruitcake. Makes about 1/2 cup ginger cream cheese.
