Fresh-Squeezed Limeade Recipe

  • ½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice (from 5 limes)
  • ¼ cup Simple Syrup (recipe follows)
  • 1 quart water
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups sugar
  1. In a medium pitcher, combine all of the ingredients and stir. Chill and serve ice cold.
  2. In a saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a boil over high heat. Boil for 1 minute, stirring to dissolve the sugar completely. Remove from the heat and cool to room temperature.
  3. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
