- ½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice (from 5 limes)
- ¼ cup Simple Syrup (recipe follows)
- 1 quart water
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups sugar
- In a medium pitcher, combine all of the ingredients and stir. Chill and serve ice cold.
- In a saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a boil over high heat. Boil for 1 minute, stirring to dissolve the sugar completely. Remove from the heat and cool to room temperature.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
