French Toast Dippers Recipe

  • 8 slices white bread, crusts removed
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  1. Flatten each piece of white bread using a rolling pin.
  2. Whisk 1/4 cup butter, sugar, and cinnamon together in a bowl. Whisk eggs, milk, and nutmeg together in a separate bowl.
  3. Spread cinnamon butter mixture onto 1 side of each piece bread. Roll bread around the cinnamon butter. Dip rolled bread into the egg mixture.
  4. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium heat; cook the dipped bread rolls until golden, about 2 minutes per side.
