- 1 (2 pound) boneless beef chuck arm roast or shoulder pot roast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 pound small red potatoes, cut into quarters
- 1 (8 ounce) package baby-cut carrots
- 1 (9 ounce) pouch Progresso™ Recipe Starters™ fire roasted tomato cooking sauce
- Spray 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, sprinkle beef with salt and pepper.
- Arrange potatoes and carrots around beef. Pour cooking sauce over beef and vegetables.
- Cover; cook on Low heat setting 6 to 8 hours or until beef is tender.
