- 1 (16 ounce) package Tyson® Fresh Ground Chicken
- 2/3 cup herb seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup water
- PREP: CLEAN: Wash hands. In medium bowl, combine all ingredients except water; mix well. Form chicken into 24 meatballs. CLEAN: Wash hands.
- COOK: Spray large nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Heat over medium-high heat. Add meatballs. Cook 5 minutes or until evenly browned, turning frequently. Reduce heat to medium. Add water. Cover; cook 7 to 10 minutes or until thoroughly cooked. (Insert instant-read meat thermometer in center of meatball. Temperature should read 170 degrees F.)
- SERVE: Serve in spaghetti sauce over pasta. Serve with crisp tossed salad and garlic bread, if desired.
- CHILL: Refrigerate leftovers immediately.
- RECIPE TIP: For uniform-size meatballs, pat chicken mixture into rectangle on foil-lined surface. Divide evenly into 24 pieces. Form each piece into a meatball.
