- Cake Ingredients:
- 1 Easy-Bake® Yellow Cake Mix
- 1 3/4 teaspoons water
- Frosting Ingredients:
- 1 Easy-Bake® Pink Frosting Mix
- 1 teaspoon water
- 1 Easy-Bake® Vanilla Frosting Mix
- 1 teaspoon water
- PREHEAT your EASY-BAKE(R) oven for 15 minutes.
- PREPARE THE PAN. Spray the baking pan with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- MIX THE BATTER. Pour one yellow cake mix and 1 3/4 teaspoons of water into a bowl. Stir until smooth
- FILL THE PAN. Spoon the batter into the cake pan and spread it evenly.
- BAKE THE CAKE. Use the pan pusher to move the cake into the oven. Bake for 12 minutes. After baking, use the pan pusher to move the cake into the cooling chamber. Let it cool for 10 minutes.
- TURN THE CAKE. Run a thin spatula along the inner edge of the pan to loosen the cake. Turn the pan upside down and tap gently until the cake falls out.
- MIX THE FROSTING. Pour one vanilla frosting mix and 1 teaspoon of water into a bowl. If the frosting is too thick, add an extra drop or two of water.
- PREPARE AN ICING BAG. Spoon 1 1/2 teaspoons of the pink frosting from the devil's food cake recipe into a small plastic bag. Make a small snip in corner of the bag.
- FROST THE CAKE. Spread the vanilla frosting over the top and sides of the cake. Squeeze the pink frosting from the bag to make decorative stripes.
- FINISHING TOUCHES. Pull the design comb through the pink stripes to make wavy patterns. Then stand back and admire your creation!
