- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cake flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 2 egg whites
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- Combine the applesauce, egg whites, chocolate syrup and sugar. Blend in the flours, cocoa and baking powder. Mix until the batter is smooth. Pour the batter into one 13×9 inch pan.
- Bake at 325 F (165 degrees C) for 20 to 25 minutes.
