Crusty Herb Bread Recipe

  • 2 tablespoons light margarine
  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 loaf French or Italian bread
  1. Combine margarine, parmesan cheese, chives, thyme, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Cut bread horizontally almost all the way through. Spread cut sides with margarine mixture. Wrap bread in foil. Bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) until heated through, about 15 minutes.
