Creamy Baked Chicken Recipe

  • 1 (3 pound) broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon snipped chives
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  1. Place chicken in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish. In a bowl, combine the soups, sour cream, water, chives, salt and pepper; spoon over chicken. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until chicken juices run clear.
