Cran-Apple Crisp Recipe

  • 4 medium tart apples, peeled and chopped
  • 2 cups cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional)
  1. Combine apples and cranberries in a greased 11-in. x 7-in. x 2-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with sugar and lemon juice. Toss oats, walnuts, butter and sugar; sprinkle over fruit. Bake at 325 degrees F for 1 hour or until golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream if desired.
