- 1 lemon
- 9 ounces Scotch whisky
- 2 cups boiling water
- Remove the peel from the lemon, slicing it as thinly as possible so that practically none of the white is included. Slice the lemon thinly. Put the Scotch in a warmed pitcher, add the lemon peel and boiling water. Stir gently.
- Serve in Old-fashioned glasses garnished with a slice of lemon.
