- 1 quart apple cider
- Peel of 2 clementines, cut into strips
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 6 whole cloves
- 8 ounces rum (optional)
- Bring cider, peels, cinnamon stick and cloves to a boil in a large saucepan. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes. Keep warm until serving time. Strain into mugs; add rum, if desired.
