Classic Cherry Sauce Recipe

  • 1 (12 ounce) jar cherry preserves
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  1. Combine all ingredients. Simmer for five minutes. Serve warm.
  2. If using as a glaze, brush glaze on your favorite Cook's brand ham 30 minutes before meat is done. Ham should be cooked uncovered for final 30 minutes.
