- 2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
 - 1 lime, juiced
 - 1 jalapeno pepper, diced
 - 1 clove garlic, minced
 - 1/2 small onion, minced
 - 1 Roma tomato, seeded and diced
 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
 - salt and ground black pepper to taste
 
- Place avocados in a bowl. Squeeze lime juice on top and roughly smash with a fork until thoroughly mashed. Add jalapeno pepper, garlic, onion, tomato, cilantro, salt, and pepper; gently combine with a fork.
