Chili-Topped Burgers Recipe

  • 1 1/2 ounces lean ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies, drained
  • 3/4 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 (15.5 ounce) can BUSH'S® Chili Magic Chili Starter, heated
  • 6 hamburger buns, split and toasted
  1. Combine ground beef, garlic salt, and pepper; shape into twelve 3 inch patties. Combine green chilies, cheese, and onion. Place one-sixth of mixture in center of 6 patties. Top with remaining patties; press edges to seal.
  2. Grill patties over medium hot coals for 10 to 15 minutes or until well done, turning once. Place patties on bottom half of buns. Spoon BUSH'S(r) Chili Magic Chili Starter evenly over patties. Top with remaining bun halves.
