Chili-ghetti Recipe

  • 1 (7 ounce) package spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 (4 ounce) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 (1.25 ounce) package chili seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
  2. Drain spaghetti; add to beef mixture. Stir in the beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, water, chili seasoning and Parmesan cheese. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
