Cherry Chocolate Nut Cookies Recipe

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Beat in egg, milk and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
  2. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool.
