- 1 package puff pastry
- ½ cup finely shredded sharp white cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons sea salt or kosher salt
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Sprinkle 1 pastry sheet evenly with 1 tablespoon of the cheese. Cut into 4-inch-long × ½-inch-wide strips and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Repeat with the remaining pastry sheet and cheese.
- Bake on the center oven rack until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Transfer to a plate and sprinkle with the sea salt. Serve warm.
