Cheese Puff Pastry Sticks with Salt Recipe

  • 1 package puff pastry
  • ½ cup finely shredded sharp white cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons sea salt or kosher salt
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Sprinkle 1 pastry sheet evenly with 1 tablespoon of the cheese. Cut into 4-inch-long × ½-inch-wide strips and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Repeat with the remaining pastry sheet and cheese.
  3. Bake on the center oven rack until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Transfer to a plate and sprinkle with the sea salt. Serve warm.
