Cheddar Bratwurst Stew Recipe

  • 6 bratwurst sausages, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 (15 ounce) can green beans, drained
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 8 small red potatoes, cut into bite-size chunks
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup water
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  1. Place bratwurst sausages, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, bell pepper, onion, red potatoes, Cheddar cheese, and water in a slow cooker. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook on High until potatoes are tender, about 3 hours.
