Chai Spiced Wine Recipe

  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 2 oranges, sliced
  • 1 (750 milliliter) bottle medium to full bodied red wine, (try Merlot or Burgundy)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 chai tea bags
  1. Place sliced fruit in a large saucepan. Add remaining ingredients and heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until sugar is dissolved and mixture is hot.
  2. Remove from heat and add tea bags. Let steep 10 minutes. Remove teabags and discard.
  3. Ladle hot punch into mugs to serve. Garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired.
