Chai Spiced Wine Recipe
- 2 lemons, sliced
- 2 oranges, sliced
- 1 (750 milliliter) bottle medium to full bodied red wine, (try Merlot or Burgundy)
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 chai tea bags
- Place sliced fruit in a large saucepan. Add remaining ingredients and heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until sugar is dissolved and mixture is hot.
- Remove from heat and add tea bags. Let steep 10 minutes. Remove teabags and discard.
- Ladle hot punch into mugs to serve. Garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired.
