Carpaccio of tuna and tomato with lime and sesame Recipe

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juice only
  • 1 lime, juice only
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 100g/3½oz very fresh raw tuna, thinly sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  1. Place the olive oil, lemon and lime juice and balsamic vinegar into a bowl and mix well.
  2. Add the tuna to the bowl and let the fish marinate in the bowl for ten minutes.
  3. To serve, arrange the tomato slices on a clean plate and place the tuna on top of the tomato. Sprinkle the fresh parsley and sesame seeds over the top and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
