- 15g/½ oz butter
- 1 small apple, cored and sliced
- 1 free-range egg
- Heat the butter in a non-stick frying pan. Add the apple slices and fry on both sides until golden and caramelised.
- Transfer to a serving plate.
- In the same pan, fry the egg, adding extra butter if needed.
- Serve the fried egg on top of the apple slices.
