Caramelised apple with fried egg Recipe

  • 15g/½ oz butter
  • 1 small apple, cored and sliced
  • 1 free-range egg
  1. Heat the butter in a non-stick frying pan. Add the apple slices and fry on both sides until golden and caramelised.
  2. Transfer to a serving plate.
  3. In the same pan, fry the egg, adding extra butter if needed.
  4. Serve the fried egg on top of the apple slices.
