- 12 slices Safeway SELECT Bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
- 4 (28 ounce) cans pork and beans
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 1/3 cups catsup
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 2 medium onions, finely chopped
- In a large bowl, stir together bacon, beans, sugar, catsup, mustard, and onions. Spoon into a 3 to 4 quart bean pot or casserole.
- Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree F oven until thickened and bubbly (1 1/2 to 2 hours), stirring several times to ensure even heating.
