- 4 bananas, not too ripe
- ¼ cup (packed) brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Sour cream (optional)
- Preheat the broiler.
- Peel the bananas and slice crosswise ½ inch thick. Mix the brown sugar and lime juice and toss with the banana slices.
- Spread the bananas in a shallow baking pan and broil until the sugar has melted into a glaze, 3 to 5 minutes. Serve immediately, with sour cream if you wish.
