Breakfast Apples Recipe

  • 1 apple, cored and chopped
  • 1/2 cup crispy rice cereal squares (such as Rice Chex®), crushed
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  1. Place the apple, rice cereal, cinnamon, and coconut oil into a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Cook in a microwave oven until the coconut oil has melted, 30 to 45 seconds. Stir to combine.
  3. Serve topped with berries and walnuts, if desired.
