  • 2 cups mixed field greens
  • 1/2 cup cubed cantaloupe
  • 5 fresh figs, stemmed and quartered
  • 2 tablespoons chopped red onion
  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3 slices smoked deli ham, cut into strips
  • Dressing:
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 3 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  1. For dressing whisk vinegar and olive oil in a small bowl.
  2. Toss field greens, cantaloupe, figs, and red onion in a salad bowl with dressing, then top with ham slices, Parmesan cheese, and fresh ground pepper.
