- 1/2 cup cubed cantaloupe
- 5 fresh figs, stemmed and quartered
- 2 tablespoons chopped red onion
- 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3 slices smoked deli ham, cut into strips
- Dressing:
- 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- 3 teaspoons olive oil
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- For dressing whisk vinegar and olive oil in a small bowl.
- Toss field greens, cantaloupe, figs, and red onion in a salad bowl with dressing, then top with ham slices, Parmesan cheese, and fresh ground pepper.
